Ch-ch-ch-changes!

First off, the archives now go back to 2006. I moved some of my blog entries from the MySpace blog I had back then, over here. So, if you’re interested in those, have at them. I’m not promising they’re any good, and I was in a very different place back then. I guess that’s why I love blogging so much and wish more people stuck with it. Your entries are like time capsules, especially when you have young children. Anyway…

If you’re a reader of Immoral Matriarch:

I needed to move servers and decided on a whim to merge Immoral Matriarch with my slightly different, much less child oriented personal blog I Can Only Be.Me. Extremely old posts may not work correctly (missing images and links and what not), but they should all still be there. I’ll still post the long, ranty, whatever-it-is-you’ve-grown-accustomed-to-on-immoral-matriarch posts, but sometimes, I’ll be posting things you aren’t used to, like fiction, just photos, and streams of consciousness. If you have any technical issues with the blog at all, please let me know. I’m still in the process of tweaking things. Things of note -

• http://immoralmatriarch.com still works, but that link is now a mirror for http://icanonlybe.me. Links within old posts should still work (they do here, at least) but it’s possible that links to a specific post located at http://immoralmatriarch.com may not work anymore. I’m not sure.
• You don’t have to update your feed. The I Can Only Be.Me feed is connected to the old one from Immoral Matriarch, so you should still receive posts no matter which one you’re subscribed to. If you want to be on the safe side, you can use the links in my sidebar to update your feeds. But, if you want updates on the sub-blogs, ie., Movies, Music, Television, etc, – you’ll have to subscribe to those feeds individually. I separated them to prevent you having to see posts in your reader on topics you aren’t interested in.
• Comments on old posts may be missing, but most likely, even if it says the comment number is ’0′, they are still listed on the post page.

New header, new title, same address. Suddenly there are a lot more posts here than there were before. I moved my other blog, my “mommy blog” which you may or may not have known about entitled Immoral Matriarch over here. Things of note -

• Posts will be much more frequent, so I guess that’s a win.
• Glad to see you sticking around.
