I don’t understand how people my age can be into shit like New Kids on The Block or Beverly Hills 90210. Was I extremely sheltered or what? WTF? I watched Clarissa, Sister Sister, & Doug. And Wishbone!! The Jack Russell that could read! Awww I fucking LOVED Wishbone! Anyway – I digress.
I grew up in The Great Boy Band Years. The Backstreet Boys, N*SYNC, LFO, 98 degrees, etc. I myself, was an N*SYNC girl. A Justin Timberlake girl to be exact. Since I was around 12, so for about 1/2 of my life I’ve been a Justin fiend. Yes, even when he was rocking the curly fro and rhinestoned outfits, I knew he was something special. I was with him through his awkward years, and I’ve watched him him grow into one of the sexiest men on the planet. He looks goooood now, and has that ‘Yeah, I know I look good and you want me inside of you‘ swagger that drives me nuts.
Now, he has successfully transcended generations. The Bella, my sweet girl, loves Justin Timberlake. Much to her father’s dismay, she formed her first crush – on JT – last fall, just before she turned 4, watching his ‘My Love’ video. Anytime you say his name or point him out and ask who he is she blushes and smiles and hides her face in her hands squealing. It’s adorable.
So, you can imagine the both of us this morning watching the newest webisode advertisement for his William Rast clothing line.

Ok so first of all I feel I need to defend my 3rd row seats to the NKOTB concert… here’s the deal I realize that they have no talent and that none of them are particularly good looking BUT that, that is not the point. The point is that when I was 8ish they were my whole world. Pathetic isn’t it? Anyways I feel that by going to see them I am effectively closing that chapter of my life or maybe I just want the chance to sing step by step one more time who knows.
